On February 1-2, the SOGo team attended the 25th edition of FOSDEM at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to open-source and free software.
FOSDEM gathers thousands of developers, contributors, and enthusiasts each year, fostering collaboration and driving open-source projects forward.
For our team, this event was a great opportunity to connect with the SOGo community, discuss future developments, and strengthen relationships with users and contributors.
SOGo’s roadmap includes several exciting initiatives:
- A dedicated development environment to encourage greater community involvement and contributions.
- A major new version of SOGo, built on modern technologies to ensure high performance and compliance with current web standards.
SOGo, an open-source, collaborative messaging solution
The software enables organizations to manage emails, calendars, and contacts efficiently. Designed for robustness and flexibility, it integrates seamlessly into existing infrastructures while offering a modern, user-friendly experience. Since 2022, Alinto has been actively supporting and contributing to its development.
